During "quiet time" on Evan's first day at his new school, he asked his teacher "can we talk?" Thinking his question was general (i.e., can we talk at all during quiet time), she replied "sure". Evan then says "so, what do you want to talk about?"
Alec has teeth and knows how to use them. If Evan thwarts Alec in any way, Alec simply bites Evan. Then, he grins. And Evan goes to pieces. I have a feeling that Alec will be the mayhem ring leader around here.
"I don't like when Daddy and I fight but he started it tonight." (Evan age 4 or 14?)
AJ has new dance moves. When he hears music he likes, he now throws his arms in the air and "raises the roof" while wiggling his belly. I don't know how Bill and I ended up with such great dancers for children.
We're reading ... with Evan: Gus the Ghost books, anything Berenstain Bears. He's mostly going for variety now that he has all his books unpacked so we're reading it all!
with Alec: anything with animals. He is trying to learn the animal names and to give them all kisses.
